Cookie Policy

Version 1.1.0 - last updated 2026-08-17. This policy explains how the Qwenda website (qwenda.com), operated by FAQIR Institute, uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you stay in control.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember your preferences and - only with your consent - measure how the site is used.

The categories we use

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to work (for example, remembering your language choice and your cookie preferences). These are always on and cannot be disabled. They do not track you across sites.

Analytics

With your permission, we use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are useful and how the site performs. Data is aggregated and anonymous; we do not build advertising profiles. Analytics run through Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2 - no analytics cookies are set until you opt in.

Marketing

With your permission, marketing cookies help us share Qwenda updates with the right audience. These are off by default.

Embedded media (YouTube)

Our videos page hosts short Qwenda videos that are published on YouTube. We do not embed them directly. Each video is shown as a still image served from qwenda.com, and the YouTube player is only loaded once you press play. Until you do, no YouTube or Google content is requested and no cookies from those domains are set. When you do press play, the player is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, Google's no-cookie embed domain, and your request is at that point subject to Google's privacy policy.

Your choices

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject all, or customise your choice. We only load non-essential cookies after you opt in, and your choice is stored locally on your device. You can change your mind at any time:

Third parties

The site uses Cloudflare Turnstile (a privacy-preserving, cookieless bot check) on the contact form, and - only after consent - Google Analytics 4. App screenshots and video still images are served from qwenda.com. YouTube is only contacted if you press play on a video, as described above.
